Caher Lodge is located between the 14th green and the 15th tee of Bantry Bay Golf Club and only 200yards from the clubhouse. (The Lodge itself has a Drying Room for storage and drying of gear). The 18 hole championship course was designed by Christy O'Connor Junior and is widely acknowledged to be one of the finest and most challenging courses in Ireland.

With stunning sea views and an unforgettable setting, the course boasts a large clubhouse with extensive bar and restaurant facilities. It is the perfect place for the serious golf holiday. What's more, for the Bantry course, we even guarantee tee-off times, as long as you book the previous evening.

Using Caher Lodge as a base, you can explore West Cork and Kerry. Both counties have a wonderful choice of the best in golf courses. From the awesome 'Old Head' Course at Kinsale in the east, over to the world famous courses at Kenmare, Ring of Kerry at Tempelnoe, Parknasilla and Killarney in the west, the visitor is truly spoilt for choice and remember, both car rental and texi service are available locally.
